In this tutorial, I will show you how to install the latest version of HPLIP 3.20.11 On Ubuntu 20.10 and Debian 10.6.
HPLIP stands for HP Linux Imaging and Printing, which is developed by HP for using HP Laserjet and HP Inkjet Printers Printer in Linux Platforms.
HPLIP supports more than 2000 Printer models including all business models, inkjet, laser and etc.., you can also check the list of supported devices here.
The Latest Version of HPLIP is 3.20.11 released recently and comes with the following support to the new OS and fix of issues.

- hp-toolbox will not work for ippusbxd printers in Ubuntu 20.04, Ubuntu 20.10 and LinuxMint 20.04
Installation Steps
Step 1: Download the installer file
Download installer file from the Sourceforge website or use the below command
https://nchc.dl.sourceforge.net/project/hplip/hplip/3.20.11/hplip-3.20.11.run
Step 2: Give execute permissions to the Installer
sudo chmod -R 755 hplip-3.20.11.run
Step 3: Install HPLIP 3.20.11
sudo ./hplip-3.20.11.run
Once the Installation process started it'll install all those dependencies and drivers you need to Press yes or no according to your needs.
